The 2025 season in England for teams up to 22 goals, will kick off on Wednesday May 7, with the Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy, one of the most competitive tournaments of the country, hosted by the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, located in Winkfield, near Windsor, also knows as The Berkshire.
The Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy is one of the most important tournaments in English polo. It’s been played since 1986, in the club established by the late Bryan Morrison, the renowned music mogul who has managed the careers of several rock icons, such as Pink Floyd, The Jam, The Bee Gees, The Police and George Michael, among others. The club was officially opened in 1985 by the then HRH The Prince of Wales, today His Majesty King Charles III, who also was named its first member.
The 2025 Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy will see twelve teams up to 22 goals. Poroto Cambiaso, current title holder after winning the tournament last year with La Dolfina Great Oaks, will be playing with La Dolfina Marqués de Riscal. Alongside Poroto, some of the most renowned stars of the sport will fight for the coveted trophy – Tomás Panelo, Juan Martín Zubía, Nicolás Pieres, Chris Mackenzie, Gonzalito Pieres, Pablo MacDonough, Tomás Beresford, James Harper, Diego Cavanagh, Facundo Sola, Hilario Ulloa, los hermanos Hine, Ned y Louis, Jeta Castagnola, Jerónimo del Carril, among others.
The final of the Justerini & Brook Prince of Wales Trophy is due on Saturday April 17. e
