Los Machitos Polo Club is currently hosting weekend tournaments thoroghout the spring season in Argentina. On this occasion it was the final of the RUS Seguros Cup, that was played on Tuesday November 25. The second tournament of Mariano Aguerre’s clubs, saw eight teams, in competition.

The championship match, that was due on Sunday, had to be delayed because of heavy rainfalls. Royal Pahang I and Mondragon (who received 0.5 goal on handicap), who won their two respective league games, clashed in the decisive match, that was a very balanced contest, with both teams displaying their best polo. But in the last chukka, Mondragon claimed a 3.5 lead that maintained to the last moment, to win 9.8-8 and ran out the champions.
