A new edition of the prestigious República Argentina Cup, kicked off on Wednesday March 18, with no less than eighteen games, that took place at the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP) Headquarters, set in Pilar. The tournament sees sixteen foursomes up to 25 goals, compete, in lineups that include some of the most remarkable and renowned high  goal players, such as Facundo, Gonzalo and Nicolás Pieres, Juan Martín Nero, Juan Martín Zubía, David “Pelón” Stirling, Alfredo Bigatti, among others. Teams are split in four leagues.

It’s worth to remember that the República Argentina Cup is the only contest in the world that teams rated from 0 to 40 goals, from all over the country, are elegible to play. The República Argentina Cup is played on handicap; ties are permitted during the qualification stage. The league phase will be playerd at the AAP Headquarters, in Pilar, and the finals at Palermo.
