Murus Sanctus La Magdeleine and UAE defeated Great Oaks Les Lions and Talandracas, respectively, in a new qualifying round of the Queen’s Cup on Friday, June 11. The tournament is hosted by Guards Polo Club, and sees fifteen teams, up to 22 goals, compete. 

Murus Sanctus La Magdeleine defeated Great Oaks Les Lions at Les Lions in a very hard fought match. The game was tied 14-all by the end of the fifth, but Murus Sanctus La Magdeleine pushed back in the last chukka to claim a narrow 16-15 victory. Up next, UAE continued their winning streak, claiming an impressive 12-7 win over Talandracas at Guards Polo Club.  

The final of the Queen’s Cup is scheduled for Sunday, June 27.
