As the 25th Open de France Barnes and the Trophée Castel step into the last days of competition, the Open de France Féminin was officially launched. Like the male counterpart, the most prestigious ladies tournament will take place at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, in La Ferme d’Apremont. The Open de France Féminin will begin on Tuesday September 16 and the final is due on Sunday September 21.
The ladies tournament will see eight teams between 13 and 16 goals, in competition. Teams will be split in two leagues, with four teams each. The two best within each league will advance to the semifinals. Among the the participants, are some of the best ladies players worldwide, such as Lía Salvo, Hazel Jackson, Millie Hine, Hope Arellano, Maitena Marre, Milagros Sánchez, Elena Venot.
