Polo action doesn’t stop in South America. Following the end of the 132nd. Argentine Polo Open Championship that saw La Natividad La Dolfina victorious, a new edition of the Open de Chile is about to commence. The tournament is the most significant of the country, that features some of the most renowned high goals from Chile as well as international stars. The competition will run from December 9 to December 21.

The 2925 Open de Chile sees seven teams up to 24 goals, and will see many players who took part of the past Triple Crown, such as Chile’s own Pipe Vercellino. Pipe had a brilliant season – win La Aguada Don Ercole, he claimed the Cámara de Diputados Cup and beat La Zeta Kazak in the playoff, meaning that he will be playing the 2026 Triple Crown.

Teams must play two league games, and a ranking will be set. The first four lineups within the ranking will qualify to the semifinals; the fifth team will play the Subsidiary final and will clash against the winner of the match between the sixth and seventh placed within the ranking.
