Few places in the world are as magical as Egypt; one of the first and most remarkable ancient civilizations, that’s still visible in some formidable spots that include the ruins of magnificient temples, the sight of the hieroglyphics carved on the walls and, of course, the legendary Valley of the Kings, the Sphinx and the Pyramids. And with regards to polo, El Gouna is a relative new city, set around 500 kim from the country’s capital, Cairo. And after a seven years gap, El Gouna, set on the shores of the Red Sea, is currently hosting El Gouna Beach Polo Kings Polo Silver Cup.

The tournament started to be played in 2017, but had to be cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. And 2026 was the time to be back, in order to reactivate polo in the area. El Gouna Beach Polo Kings Polo Silver Cup is the biggest arena polo in Egypt, and sees six teams in lineups of three teams each, partake, that include some well known Argentinian players such as Eduardo Menéndez and Segundo Condesse.

The contest will run through Wednesday April 8 and Saturday April 11.
