The Dubai Gold Cup, the most significant tournament of the Middle East, is underway at Al Habtoor Resort and Polo Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tournament, the culminating competition of the Dubai Gold Cup Series, is already in its seventeeth edition, and sees six teams up 20 goals, partake, in lineups that include some of the most renowned names of the sport.

 

The second qualification round was played on Wednesday February 4; that means that all the teams have played two games, each; that means, that there’s only one matchdate left to reveal the four semifinalists. Although all the teams still have chances to advance to the next stage, Dubai Wolves is the only foursome that remains unbeaten while Ghantoot lost their two contests. The semifinals will take place on Friday February 6 and Saturday February 7.
