The Argentine Association of Polo announced that the Argentine Triple Crown has been declared of ‘National Interest’.

 

The honor has been bestowed through Resolution 206/2025, by the Secretaría General Presidencia de la Nación.

 

The Argentine Triple Crown is the most important polo championship in the world. It is formed of three tournaments: the Tortugas Open, the Hurlingham Open and the Argentine Open Championship, and it’s played by the greatest and renowned polo players and 10-goalers worldwide.

 

“This acknowledgment crowns several years of hard work and commitment done by the AAP and reaffirms the cultural, international and sports-wise of polo as a landmark for Argentina”, stated from the AAP. “We are very thankful to all those who accompained this request, especially to the Foreign Ministry, Secretariat of Tourism, Environment and Sports, and Secretaría General de la Presidencia de la Nación”.
