The upcoming and much anticipated polo season in Argentina is almost around the corner. On Friday July 11, the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP), announced the calendar for the tournaments that will run through September to December, and as usual, will come to an end with the highlight of the year, the championship match of the Argentine Polo Open.

The season will kick off on September with the San Jorge Open, which is due to commence on September 1 and will run to September 6. The Jockey Club Open is coming next, with the final scheduled for September 20.

Following the warm-up with these two competitions, it will be time for the coveted Triple Crown:

Hurlingham Open – Tuesday September 23 – Saturday October 4

Tortugas Open – Tuesday October 7 – Saturday October 25

Argentine Polo Open Championship – Friday October 31 – Saturday December 6

In addition, the season, as usual, will showcase plenty of tournaments for all levels of play.
