On Sunday January 25, Standing Rock and Flex Jet played the championship match of the 41st. Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, that took place on the frozen lake in the stunning St. Moritz, Switzerland, sorrounded by the beauty of the Swiss Alps. The most significant snow polo tournament established in 1985 by the formidable Reto Gaudenzi, saw six teams up to 16 goals, in competition.

Prior to the main final, Azerbijan Land of Fire claimed the fourth place, after defeating Mackage by a narrow 5-4; the third place went to Investec, after a close 5-4.5 victory over St. Moritz Top Of The World.

Packed grandsstands and delighted spectators, witnessed the much anticipated final between Standing Rock and FlexJet; the latter received 0.5 goal on handicap, which allowed them to remain in the lead after the first chukka. However, Standing Rock, the recent winners of the Bendura Bank Snow Polo, in Austria, bounced back, led by an inspired Max Charlton. But FlexJet never gave up, until a quick run produced by Raúl Laplacette with only seconds to go sealed the deal, and secured the 6-4.5 victory and the title for Standing Rock.
