St. Regis claimed a 8-5 victory over Aspen Valley, and won the  St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship, following the final that took place at Aspen Valley Polo Club, in Colorado. The winning lineup were made of three Figueras – Nacho Figueras played with his two sons, Hilario and Artemio. Also, Prince Harry Duke of Sussex was a member of the runner up, Aspen Valley. One of the most traditional snow polo events, the contest, that ran through December 17 and 18, saw a total of eight teams, partake.

 

St. Regis and Aspen Valley played the main final; after a very even start, St. Regis seized the reins and widened their advantage, by delivering a solid and consistent performance. At the end of the day, luck was on St. Regis’ side, and were victorious.

 

In the remaining finals of the day, Edmiston (Rebecca Cohen, Alejandro Novillo Astrada, Jason Crowder) captured the High Alpine Cup; the Aspen Cup went to The Agency (Taggart Mills, Sugar Erskine, Alejandro Novillo Astrada); y Baron d’Avella (Pierre-Henri Ngoumou, Frederic D’Avella, and Lolo Bayugar), claimed the Maroon Bells Cup.
