The legendary Snow Polo World Cup, that takes place on the frozen lake in St. Moritz, in Switzerland, kicked off on Friday January 24, on a very special year, since the most significant snow polo tournament in the world celebrates its 4oth. anniversary. The contest sees six teams up to 16 goals, in participation.
In the opening match, TAOS, led by an outstanding Alfredo Bigatti, the MVP of the game, defeated Mackage: in the follow-up, Jason Crowder was the crucial man in World Polo League’s 6-4.5 victory over Flex Jet. Last but not least, Raúl Laplacette commanded Azerbaijan Land of Fire to beat The Kusnach Practice to a narrow 5.5-5 win.
The tournament will resume on Saturday January 25, to determine the teams who will play the final on Sunday.
