The final of the Memorial Conde de la Maza, the last leg of the Autumn Iberian Polo Tour, took place on Sunday November 30, at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande, with Quinto Elemento victorious for the second time. It’s worth to remember that the series hosted three tournaments thoroghout novembers and the winners were Quinto Elemento (Sotoestates Cup) and Ojo Caliente (Open de Andalucía)

 

The Memorial Conde de la Maza saw four teams up to 8 goals, in praticipation. Quinto Elemento and PX Polo clashed for the title.

 

Quinto Elemento got off to a stronger start, dominating the first two chukka; by half time they were 5-1.5 ahead. But Quinto Elemento managed to make an impressive comeback and by the time to play the last chukka, they were 5.5-5 up. At the end of the day, the Gesell family’s lineup claimed the 8.5-7 victory, and their second cup of the Autumn Iberian Polo Cup.
