Polothanda beat Legacy by a close 12-11, and ran out the champions of the Copa Joseph McMicking, in the final that took place on Sunday June 15, at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande. The competition, that bears the name of the founder of the city located in the South of Spain,  saw eight teams up to 8 goals, in participation.

In a very close game, María Curtchis’ team only lost the second chukka over Cedric Schweri’s lineup (the recent winners of the Copa Bienvenida KE Sotogrande), and maintained the lead in the remaining of the contest, to finally earned the trophy. The next tournament of the current season at Ayala Polo Club is the Open de España, due to commence on Thursday June 19 and will come to an end on Sunday June 29.
