A new edition of the traditional Polo In The Park, took place on Friday June 6. Polo In the Park is an event that runs through the quarter finals of the Queen’s Cup and the start of the British Open, and takes place at the Hurlingham Park, in Fulham, in the outskirts of London.

 

Polo In the Park combines polo and fun; thoroghout the weekend, the tournament saw six teams representing cities – Arkham Team Punta Cana, Team London, INFINOX Team Zurich, Team Riyadh, Qatar Polo Club Team Doha and Standing Rock Team Rapid City. In addition, Polo In the Park includes the International Day, and this year, Argentina and England clashed in a friendly contest.

 

Argentina defeated England by an impressive 8-4, in a very fast paced and dynamic match. The lineups featured three members each, while the contest was a four chukka game, played with a bigger ball and a minimum of rules.

 

The brand new President of the Argentine Association of Polo, Benjamín Araya, presented the trophy to the winners.
