After a two weeks delay due to poor weather, Pilot and Scone played the championship match of the 60th Jockey Club Open, that took place at the Jockey Club Open, set in San Isidro, in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Wednesday October 2. It’s worth to note that both lineups had previously won the tournament – Pilot in 2019, and Scone in 2022 and 2023.

Pilot’s Facundo Pieres opened the scores, followed by three remarkable consecutive goals by the indomitable Jeta Castagnola, that allowed Pilot to close the first chukka with an impressive 4-0 lead, that was widened to 6-0 in the following chukka.

However, Scone made a comeback in the third chukka, until they closed the gap to two goals (7-9) in the fifth, led by Benjamin Panelo (who subbed in for Poroto Cambiaso). But the damage has been already done; Pilot managed to hold on to their early lead to secure the 13-10 victory and the second title. In addition, this was the second time Curtis Pilot won the Jockey Club Open; the third for Jeta Castagnola, and the fourth for Facundo Pieres and Barto Castagnola.
