The first ever final of the USPA Midwest Women’s Open took place on Monday August 25. The decisive match between the locals, Las Brisas, and Parrillo Polo, was played at Las Brisas Polo Club, set in the outskirts of Chicago, United States. It’s worth to note that this brand new tournaments serves to continue the constant and steady growth of ladies polo in different destinations all over the world.

 

Parrillo Polo, who received one goal by handicap, managed to maintain the lead, which widened to a commanding 5-1 lead by the end of the second chukka. Parrillo Polo dominated the match and the scoreboard, to the point they were 7-3 ahead at the start of the fourth and last chukka. Although Las Brisas outscored their contenders 3-0, the damage has already been done, and Parrillo Polo claimed the 7-6 win that secured them the title.
