The final of the Trophée Du Coquetier d’Or, the last 12-goal tournament hosted by the Polo Club de Chantilly, set in La Ferme d’Apremont, France, took place on Sunday July 13. Octogone and Télédou were due to play the decisive match of the competition, that saw five teams up to 12 goals, partake.
Both teams already clashed in the league stage, with Octogone victorious 8-6. The final was a complete different story; after two scoreless chukkas, Octogone bounced back in the third chukka, and by half time they were 3-0 up. Octogone, then, seized the reins, and claimed a comfortable 5-1 win and the title.
