Polo in India is currently expanding, mostly thanks to the efforts made by Naveen Jindal’s Jindal Polo Estate, set in the outskirts of New Delhi. Naveeen expanded his club a great deal – today, it has five grounds, one of them with artificial lights in order to play night games, as well as facilities that allow players to stay within the club.

PoloLine caught up with the British player, after earning a spot in the semifinals of the Jindal Polo Estate Cup, the opening tournament of the Jindal Polo Estate’s spring season. He spoke about his own experience playing in India, his views on the growth of the club, and Naveen Jindal’s remarkable contribution to the polo community in his country.
