Although the opening day of the 27th. edition of the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad was not played, due to heavy rainfalls, the tournament was a total success. In the following days, the weather improved and allowed people to enjoy the traditional teams parade on the lovely streets of the fairy tale Swiss city, sorrounded by the stunning entourage of the Swiss Alps, as well as polo during the weekend – the semifinals and finals, on Saturday August 23 and Sunday August 24, respectively.

As usual, the spectators had a delightful time in the lavish VIP tents while they were able to watch and appreciate all the action on the grounds, and the skills delivered by renowned players like Min Podestá, Nico Pieres, Adrián Laplacette o Bautista Bello, among others.

Pierre Genecand, the President of the Gstaad Polo Club, a position he’s hold for twenty years now, met up with PoloLine after the finals, to speak about his daily challenges and what’s expected for the future.
