The third edition of the Polo Nations Cup will come to an end on Sunday June 22, with the match between defending champions, Occitane and Argentina, the team that’s playing one of the most significant international polo contests, hosted by the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, in France.
The Argentinian lineup is made of Bruno Bensoussan’s La Berta, and had a great season in Chantilly; they are about to play their third final in the legendary French club and they already have a 1-1 record – they lost the Trophée Bourbon against Mustang, and claimed the Coupe Patrick Guerrand-Hermes, after beating Octogone. Now they will seek to improve their record, aiming to lift the trophy of the Polo Nations Cup.
Matías Torres Zavaleta, the highest rated player of the team, spoke to PoloLine about many issues, including his feelings about playing in France for the first time.
