While the world’s sights are all on the Triple Crown in Argentina, polo in Spain is in full swing, as well, with action in Mallorca, through two competitions thoroghout October, that gives strenghth to the island located 200 km from the shores of Spain.

 

The tournaments are played at the Mallorca Polo Club, established in 1999, and this year opened the doors to polo to allow teams and organisations from all over the world to enjoy the facilities while playing at the highest level.

 

The first tournament was the Baleares Cup, that saw eight teams up to 10 goals, in participation. Names like the Crasemann and Grabosch families, Matías Amaya, Pedro Harrison, Max Charlton, among others, are taking part of the contest, that is not yet finished due to poor weather, that forced to set a new date.

 

In the meantime, the second tournament, the Mediterránea Cup, kicked off, and sees the same eight teams, partake. The final is due on Sunday October 26, AND WIL BE STREAMED LIVE ON POLOLINE TV.
