Day two of the San Jorge Open, the first competition of the spring season in Argentina, saw La Natividad defeat La Dolfina BP by 14 goals to 10. The match was played on Palermo’s number two ground on Tuesday, September 21. The match saw the legendary Bartolomé “Lolo” Castagnola’s make a comeback to the Cathedral as a player for La Natividad.

The tournament sees three teams, between 27 and 28 goals, compete.

 

SAN JORGE OPEN – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21:

La Natividad: Lucas Monteverde Jr. 5 (3 goals), Adolfo Cambiaso Jr. 8 (2), Bartolomé Castagnola Jr 9 (5, Bartolomé Castagnola 6 (4). Total: 28.

La Dolfina BP: James Beh 0 (5 goals), Alejo Taranco 8 (1), Adolfo Cambiaso 10 (2),  Diego Cavanagh 9 (2). Total: 27.

Score La Natividad: 2-1, 5-1, 8-2, 9-5, 11-9, 14-10.

La Natividad & La Dolfina Dr 2U will go head to head in the San Jorge Open final on Friday, September 2. The final will be played on Palermo’s number two ground, at 3pm.
