On Friday September 5, La Esperanza and Las Brisas were victorious in their respective debuts at the 25th. Open de France Barnes, the most important polo tournament t in France, and hosted by the lavish Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, located in La Ferme d’Apremont, only 30 minutes away from Paris.

 

In the day´s opening match, La Esperanza dominated La Berta, and clinched a 8-5 win. The second contest, between Las Brisas and Télédou was a very different story; Las Brisas had to fight hard against Isabelle Larenaudie’s foursome, that ended with a narrow 8-7 victory for the Chicago-based team.

 

The 25th. Open de France Barnes will resume on the weekend with the following order of play:

  • Saturday September 6

11am: Brittany vs. Sainte Mesme

1pm: La Magdeleine vs. Animales

3pm: Talandracas vs. Eternal J

5,30pm: Jolly Roger vs. Essso

  • Sunday September 7

11am: Las Brisas vs. Kazak

12pm: Clinova vs. La Esperanza

2,30pm: Battistoni vs. Télédou

5pm: Octogone vs. La Berta
