La Dolfina Oriental  – who received three goals on handicap – beat La Ensenada Emezeta 16-12, and won the República Argentina Cup, in the final that took place on Monday March 30 at the Argentine Association Polo Headquarters, in Pilar. The decisive match, that was due on Saturday March 28, had to be delayed due to heavy rains.

 

It’s worth to remember that La Dolfina Oriental and Cuatro Vientos Emezeta reached the championship game, after their respective wins against Cuatro Vientos Amanara and La Matera, in semifinals.

 

In a fast paced contest, both teams presented a hard fought battle. However, La Dolfina Oriental managed to seize the reins, thanks to a remarkable performance provided by Uruguay’s pride, Pelón Stirling. At the end of the day, La Dolfina Oriental were victorious and took home one the most coveted trophy of the Autumn season, in Argentina.
