On Sunday June 8, La Berta and Octogone played the final of the Coupe Patrick Guerrand-Hermes, hosted by the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, in La Ferme de Apremont, France. The former claimed the title of the contest that is a tribute to the club’s founder, Monsieur Patrick Guerrand Hermes.

The match saw Octogone leading until the third chukka; by half time they were 7-6 up. But La Berta bounced back in the fourth chukka, led by an outstanding performance delivered by Matías Torres Zavaleta. They claimed the lead in the two following chukkas, that allowed them to win the tournament and the title.

The Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly will expect the start of three new competitions next week – the third Polo Nations Cup (10-12 goal), the Coupe des Maillets D’Argent (6-8 goal) and the Coupe La Berta (2-4 goal).
