La Aguada Don Ercole and Velay are through the final of the Cámara de Diputados Cup, after their respective wins in the semifinals that were played on Thursday November 20, at the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters in Pilar. It’s worth to remember that the winner of this tournament is entitled to play the playoff against the eighth team in the ranking of the current Triple Crown. Eventually, the winner of the playoff, will be able to earn a spot in the 2026 Triple Crown.

 

Due to rain forecast, both games were played simultaneosuly. La Aguada Don Ercole defeated La Natividad 16-12, and will go for the rematch, after missing a close opportunity to play the Argentine Open, when they lost to La Zeta Kazak, in the last match of the Qualification Tournament; their contenders are Velay, who claimed an impressive 15-5 win over La Matera, thanks to a remarkable defensive work.

 

La Aguada Don Ercole (Facundo Llosa 8, Kristos Magrini 6, Pedro Zacharias 8, Felipe Vercellino 7) and Velay (Juan Jauretche 7, Felipe Miguens 6, Simón Prado 7, Alfredo Capella 8) will go head-to-head for the title on Wednesday November 26.
