The Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad, that was due to begin on Thursday August 21, at the  Polo Club Gstaad, in Switzerland, had to be delayed because of poor weather. Therefore, the two games to be played on the opening day, Kielder Agro Group vs. Gstaad Palace and Albinati Aeronautics vs. Hublot, were rescheduled for Saturday August 23. One of the most remarkable events of the international calendar of polo, the Hublot Polo Cup Gstaad sees four teams up to 14 goals, in competition. One of the lineups include no less than Argentinian 8-goaler, Nicolás Pieres, who will be the highest rated played of the tournament.

 

In the meantime, the Polo Club Gstaad, with its the impeccable grounds set in the Gstaad/Saanen airfields, will be open on Thursday, to greed all those who are eager to attend and enjoy the village and the he facilities in a dreamy entourage, on free admission, exquisite catering and gastronomy provided by Gstaad Palace, the children’s area and exhibitors.

 

In addition, Gstaad will see the traditional players parade in the colorful streets of the lovely Swiss city on Friday August 22, at 4pm.
