Habtoor defeated Ghantoot by an impressive 13-9, and ran out the champions of the Ghantoot International Polo Championship, the last tournament hosted by Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, located in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The final took place on Saturday March 7; it’s worth to remember that the contest was lowered from 20 goals to 16 goals, in order to allow more organisations to participate.
In the semifinals, Habtoor and Ghantoot earned wins over El Basha (12-9) and Abu Dhabi (18-11.5), respectively.
The decisive game was a rematch of the 2025 final; although the locals were determined to retain the title they obtained last year, by holding the advantage throghout most of the match, Habtoor managed to bounce back thanks to their flagship man, Toly Ulloa, who led Habtoor Al Habtoor’s lineup to the 13-.9 win and the title.
