The semifinals of the Ghantoot International Polo Championship, the last tournament of the season at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, set in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, were played on Wednesday March 4. It’s worth to notice that the competition has been lowered from 22 goals to 16 goals, to allow more organisations to play and make it more competitive.

Ghantoot earned the first spot in the final, after defeating El Basha 12-9; up next, Habtoor claimed a 18-11.5 win over Abu Dhabi. Therefore, it is a rematch – both teams played the championship match in 2025, with the former victorious.
