Prior to the finals of the Open de France Barnes, both for ladies and gentlemen, the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly hosted a 20-goal international ladies polo match between France and England, that took place on Saturday September 20.

 

Although France received 1.5 goal on handicap, the English girls, led by their captain, Hazel Jackson, managed to take the lead quickly. France bounce back and re-took the advantage in the third and England ended up 4-2.5 up in the penultimate chukka. But thanks to a remarkable performance delivered by Elena Venot in the fourth chukka, France ended up victorious 6-5-5.
