FlexJet and Standing Rock will decide the 41st. Snow Polo World Cup, that’s underway on the frozen lake, in St. Moritz, sorrounded by the stunning landscape of the magnificent Swiss Alps. The most important snow polo tournament sees six teams up to 16 goals, compete.

The tournament is held during three days; on this occasion, action started on Friday January 23 in order to reveal the four lineups who would advance to semifinals. FlexJet, St. Moritz Top Or The World, Standing Rock and Azerbaijan Land of Fire were the four teams who would battle for the two spots in the final on on Saturday January 24.

FlexJet and St. Moritz Top Of The World played the first semifinal, and saw the clash of two of the most remarkable players in the world – Pelon Stirling and Nico Pieres. Following a very tough contest, the match was decided in a second extra time – FlexJet advanced to the final with great neckshot goal produced by Pelayo Berazadi

In the meantime, Standing Rock and Azerbaijan Land Of Fire – last year’s runner up and who received one and a half goal on handicap – looked for the second spot in the final. While the latter managed to increase their advantage, their contenders bounced back; led by Max Charlton and Raúl Laplacette, Standing Rock overturned the result with less than a minute left, and earned a place in the decisive game.
