The 41st. Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, the most prestigious snow polo tournament of the world, is due to kick off on the frozen lake, in St. Moritz, Switzerland, sorrounded by the stunning landscape of the majestic Swiss Alps. The competition is due through Friday January 23-25, and will see six teams up to 16 goals, partake.

 

The current title holders, Azerbaijan Land of Fire, will aim to retain the coveted trophy, although with a new lineup – Raúl Laplacette is no longer within the lineup and will be playing for Standing Rock. In addition, and as usual, the contest will feature some remarkable names of polo, including Pelon Stirling, Nicolás Pieres, Robert Strom and Alfredo Bigatti, among others.

 

Games will begin on Friday, following on Saturday, and the finals are due on Sunday. Friday and Saturday will see three games, each, and two on Sunday, meaning Subsidiary final and the 41st. Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz.
