August is just around the corner, and as happens every year, Ayala Polo Club will host the upcoming Torneo Internacional de Polo, in Sotogrande, the remarkable polo competition played in Spain. The 54th. edition is expected to be as strong as ever and awaits some of the best players in the world, who will compete for three cups (bronce, pata and oro), all of them split in three levels – low goal, medium goal and high goal.
As usual, the Copa de Bronce will mark the beginning of the Torneo Internacional de Polo. It will commence on July 28 and the final is set to be held on August 2, on the same day as the high goal version of the tournament. The follow up is the Copa de Plata, that will run through August 4-16 and last but not least, the coveted Copa de Oro, due through August 18-30.
Many of the players who will take part of a full packed month of polo in Spain, will be playing the upcoming 2025 Triple Crown in Argentina – Barto Castagnola, Poroto Cambiaso, Sapo Caset, Tomás Panelo, Polito Pieres, Antonio Heguy, Rufino Bensadón, Hilario Ulloa, Gonzalo Pieres Jr.,, Carlos María Ulloa, Lukin Monteverde, Pablo Mac Donough, among others.
