The Dubai Silver Cup, one of the two highest rated competitions of the Middle East, is stepping into the last league phase, at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tournament sees five teams up to 20 goals, partake, and the final is set to be played on Saturday January 24.

 

The third matchdate, held on Saturday January 17. UAE and Jehangiri opened fire, with Sheikha Maitha’s foursome had to fight hard to defeat their contenders by a close 10-9, in the last minutes of play. The second loss for Jehangiri, left them almost out of competition.

 

For Habtoor, who played the following game, it was a different story; In another remarkable display of polo, Mohammed Al Habtoor & Co earned their second win, by a 8-7 score over Bangash, to remain undefeated and with high hopes to reach the decisive game.
