The final of the 35th. Campeonato Argentino del Interior con Handicap (CAIH) por la Copa Sesquicentenario de la Revolución de Mayo, was played on Saturday May 3, at Pompeya Polo Club, located in Ascochinga, a village in the Province of Córdoba. Cuarto Rincón and Chapaleufu La Caledonia, from the provinces of  Corrientes and La Pampa, respectively, clashed for the title.

 

Both lineups played a tight match, displaying their best skills, as they did thoroghout the whole tournament. By the start of the last chukka the gap between the two teams was just one goal, until Cuarto Rincón managed to seal the deal, and earned a 12-10 win, that led them to the coveted trophy.

 

One of the most attractive and competitive tournaments of the Autumn Season in Argentina, established in 1987 by the then President of the Argentine Association of Polo, the late, unforgettable Francisco Dorignac, the 2025 edition of the CAIH took place through April 29 to May 3. The contest saw eight teams up to 12 goals; lineups come from Córdoba (3), La Pampa (1), San Luis (1), Buenos Aires (1), Santa Fe (1) and Corrientes (1), split in four leagues.
