The Centauros leg of the Argentina Polo Tour, was decided through Friday March 27 and Saturday March 28. It’s worth to notice that two levels of play – 16-goal and 20-goal – were eligible to play the competitive series
With regards to 16-goal, Cañuelas and Amadeus played the final on Friday March 27. A very interesting contest, indeed, that featured two former Ellerstina players, Bautista Bayugar (Amadeus) and Lukin Monteverde (Cañuelas). Cañuelas led thoroghout the whole match until they earned the 15-10 win.
Despite heavy rainfalls, the 20-goal final was played on Saturday March 28, between La Paz and Ojo Caliente. Following a very balanced start in the two first chukka, Juan Martin Nero took control of the game and became the crucial man when it came to widen La Paz’s advantage. At the end of the day, it was the latter who took the 15-10 victory.
