Argentina and Occitane qualified to the finals of one of the most significant international polo contests, the Polo Nations Cup, that is currently underway at the Polo Club du Domain de Chantilly, set in La Ferme d’Apremont, in France. The tournament sees ten teams up to 12 goals, partake.
Following the semifinals, that were played on Friday June 20, Occitane, current title holders, defeated Paris 8-7, after a tough contest that was sealed by a great goal by Ramiro Zavaleta. Therefore, Occitane will attempt to be the first team to lift the trophy twice.
In the follow-up, Argentina, led by Matías Torres Zavaleta beat Paca/France (winners of the Polo Nations Cup in 2023), claimed a narrow 8-7 win, in a hard fought match, that showcased a fantastic proformance by Matías Torres Zavaleta.
Argentina and Occitane will clash for the Polo Nations Cup on Sunday June 22 at 3,30pm (France time), and WILL BE STREAMED ON POLOLINE TV HERE.
