On Friday September 12, the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP) Headquarters, located in Pilar, Province of Buenos Aires, hosted the second matchdate of the prestigious 60th. Jockey Club Open. The tournament that preceeds the Triple Crown in Argentina, sees six teams up to 33 goals, in participation.

The first contest saw the rematch of last year’s final, La Hache vs, Scone. Hilario Ulloa and Co. got off to a great start, leading the path and overwhelming their contenders. However, Scone made a comeback to get into the scoreboard, but the efforts didn’t pay off, and La Hache were victorious 13-10. In addition, La Hache are through semifinals, while Scone is obliged to defeat La Aguada in their next game.

Up next, came the clash between Kazak and Pilot. Following three very even chukkas, the French organisation seized the reins, displaying their best polo, under the command of Polito Pieres, who produced three goals, and a remarkable performance delivered by Juan Martín Nero. Kazak won 11-7, and league A will be decided in the last league matchdate.
