Mikee Romero is a polo patron, who is currently playing the 14-goal USPA Midwest Open, at Las Brisas Polo Club, set in the outskirts of Chicaco, in the United States. With a matchdate yet to play to close the league stage, Mikee’s team, Passion for Polo, is already in semifinals,.

 

This is the first time that Mikee plays this tournament in the US; he already made his debut in the Gauntlet of Polo, earlier in the year, with Global Port, a lineup that included Bartolomé Castagnola Jr.

 

Following the win against Las Brisas, that secured Passion for Polo a ticket to the semifinals, Romero spoke to PoloLine, to tell about his experience in Chicago, and the growth of polo in Southwest Asia.
