Jehangiri claimed their second consecutive win at the British Polo Open Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup, and they are close to qualify to the quarter finals. Without doubts, and in their first high goal season, Muhammed Jehangiri’s foursome is one of the current sensations of English polo.
It’s worth to note that, less than one year ago, Jehangiri were not about to play high goal. They played the President Cup in Argentina, then up to high goal in the United Arab Emirates, where they played the final of the Gold Cup and lost to UAE.
The foursome is currently made of Mohammed Jehangiri (although being replaced by Emily Johnson), James Harper, Gonzalo Pieres Jr and Diedo Cavanagh. The latter spoke to PoloLine about the team’s win against Park Place, the growth of the organisation and the chances to step into the next stage of England’s most important competition.
