The upcoming Saturday will mark the start of the 16th edition of the Dubai Silver Cup, which will also signal the beginning of a new Dubai Gold Cup Series (DGCS) featuring four tournaments and concluding in mid-March. This year, there will be five teams of up to twenty goals of handicap, all competing for the title, with the final set to be played on Saturday, January 24.

On Monday, January 5, the draw was held to determine the preliminary matchups. Following the conclusion of the event, which took place in the conference room at Al Habtoor Polo Resort, Miguel Delia, the newly appointed Habtoor Polo Manager, spoke with Pololine. In the interview, the Argentine discussed the organization’s goals for 2026, the importance of continuing to add teams such as Jehangiri, and the re-seeding of the fields.
