As the medium and high goal seasons in Europe start winding down, we can look back at the last few months and appreciate certain moments of the wonderful summer. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the return of King Power to the English high goal, in a greatly successful season for the organisation.

The loss of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha last year gave the Thai team a different motivation, and the organisation worked hard to make their former owner proud. The team qualified for the semifinals of the Queen’s Cup and reached the Gold Cup final, and seeing Marcos Di Paola on the field was particularly special for the organisation as he also made his comeback playing the English high goal.

Marcos Di Paola, speaking to Pololine TV about his 2019 season in England, stated:

“King Power is an organisation where the person comes first.”

“For us, it was a very special year. We had to continue and I think we did so with our heads held high.”

“We were disappointed with the game [Gold Cup final], but we are happy with the season.”

“The most important thing is how you get along with each other and the atmosphere that we create in the whole organisation. That is what King Power is all about.”
