Patagones became the fourth semifinalist of the CV Whitney Cup, opening 22-goal competition of the Gauntlet of Polo, after beating Postage Stamp Farm in a penalty shootout on Monday. The result means that Gonzalo Avendaño’s organisation now joins La Indiana, Pilot, and Las Monjitas in Wednesday’s semifinals at International Polo Club Palm Beach, in Wellington.
The finals of the CV Whitney Cup are scheduled for Sunday, February 23.
