The 31st. Campeonato Argentino del Interior con Handicap (CAIH) Copa Sesquicentenario de la Revolución de Mayo, kicked off on Monday May 5, on a very busy first matchday that included six games that took place at Pompeya Polo Club and Estancia La Paz, in the Province of Córdoba, Argentina. The tournament, one of the most important of the Autumn calendar of polo in Argentina and hosted by the AAP, showcases twelve teams between 11 and 16 goals, coming from all over the country, and the finals are due on Saturday May 11.

 

The results of the opening day are as follows:

Leagua A (Pompeya Polo Club)

Córdoba Escorihuela Gascón 19, vs. Salta Airampo 7

Mendoza Palo Santo 11 vs. Córdoba Sur 10

League B (Estancia La Paz)

The CAIH will resume on Tuesday May 7, and this order of play:

League A: 3pm,  La Paz,  Mendoza Palo Santo vs. Salta Airampo.

League B: 10,30am, Pompeya, San Luis vs. Santa Fe León Pharma

League B: 12.00pm, Pompeya, Santa Fe II vs. Santiago del Estero Secco;

League C: 1,30pm, La Paz, Tucumán vs. Entre Ríos;

League C: 3pm, La Paz, Neuquén vs. Tucumán II.

DECLARED OF NATIONAL AND PROVINCIAL INTEREST

 

The Campeonato Argentino del Interior con Handicap (CAIH) was declared of “NATIONAL TURISTIC INTEREST” by the Secretaría de Desarrollo y Promoción Turística de la Nación on April 15, 2019. It was also declared of PROVINCIAL TURISTIC INTEREST by the Governement of the Province of Córdoba, through the Agencia Córdoba Turismo on April 9, 2019.
