Gonzalo Pieres Jr., Rolex Testimonee, was invited along with his patron Marc Ganzi, to watch the last day of competition of the world's most important golf tournament, the Augusta Masters. Gonza and Marc were joined by Sebastián Amaya, Gonza´s agent plus two friends of Marc, and special guests, Sugar Erskine and Chris Nevins. Marc kindly offered his private plane to the fly to Augusta, that departed al 8,30am on Sunday from West Palm Beach Airport, and was on arrival in Augusta an hour later. They all were greeted by a Mercedes Benz coordinated by Rolex, that took the delegation to the private box property of the worldwide renowned watchmaker at Augusta National, next to hole 2. Due to the strict rules at Augusta National during the Masters, photos were not allowed on Sunday. It was about to watch some of the world's best golfers, such as Stricker, McIroy, Tiger Woods, Angel Cabrera and Luke Donald. After lunch, nearby the clubhouse, where only a few people can be acredited, as it is the place where players access to the tee of hole 1, Marc, Gonzalito and company followed Tiger Woods, along the many people who always follow him; no matter his performance, Tiger's popularity is really huge. The last five holes was an incredible fight between Kucher, Oosthuizen, Bubba Watson, Lee Westwood, Phil Michelson and Fred Couples. It was followed by a thrilling double hole tie break, between Louis Oosthuizen and Bubba Watson, which was finally won by Watson. As traditional, he was presented with the worldwide renowned green blazer of the Augusta Masters. After the finals, the chauffers from Rolex took the guests to a house rented by Rolex, and from there, to a special dinner, where one of the most important guests was Butch Harmon, one of the world's best golf teacher and also a Rolex Testimonee. On Monday morning, Gonzalito experimented the pleasure to play in Augusta, accompained by Jean Noel Bioul, Rolex Marketing Manager. It was a round on the same field where the world's most renowned golfers played on Sunday, and the same where Bubba Watson had his glory day. Gonza hit from the same place and with flags placed exactly where they have been on Sunday. Gonza's score was +11, a very good number, considering it was one of the most difficult fields and a flag position too complicated. The rest of the group, Marc Ganzi, Sebastián Amaya, Sugar Erskine and Chris Nevins, had the chance to experience something similar, as they played the Gary Player Invitational, at Champions Retreat Club, near Augusta. The field was designed by Arnold Palmer (9 holes), Jack Nicklaus (9 holes) and Gary Player (9 holes). Gary Player also did a golf clinic prior to start the competition, so every group had the opportunity to play a hole against the man himself!!!! The guests returned back to Augusta Airport, where Marc Ganzi's plane was waiting to take them back to West Palm Beach, where Audi had scheduled a practice, before their last qualifying game of the 108th. US Open. All that after spending such a fantastic and unforgettable day at the magnificient Augusta fields.
