By Aurora Eastwood Today's test match was a much needed antidote to weeks of rain and no polo. Aggressive and fast from the very first second, both teams played hard and skilfully. The Americans, although on strange horses, were certianly not on average ones. Mounted on ponies from Zacara, Dubai and Ellerston, they were certainly not out horsed. Every member on both teams played incredibly well, notably Nic Roldan who scored almost the goals for the USA. Luke Tomlinson was sublime as ever in defence, and although it was an all new line up, and with Malcolm in an unfamiliar position on the field (but still a key player) the team played so well. Beimy is so quick and such a good reader of the game, and Ollie was terrier-like in his work rate and made some excellent plays. Such a narrow win for England made the game all the more exciting.
