November 21, 2008 - Due to a riding muscle injury, which forced him to leave the field during the match against Black Watch, Eduardo Novillo Astrada Jr. won´t be playing the game against Ellerstina next Sunday. He will be replaced by Marcos di Paola.
Meanwhile, Javier Novillo Astrada, who has also injured his shoulder is confirmed as not playing. Silvestre Donovan will substitute for him.

November 20, 2008 - The II International Ladies Tournament, at Estancia Don Manuel, have already its finalists.
Escorihuela Gascón/La Mejor Flor beat Longiness 8-4 and will meet PoloLine in the final, who defeated Miguel Acuña Saddlery 7-2. Meanwhile, Capital Lions got a narrow 7-6 win against Estancia Chica.
Finals are due on Friday, and the schedule is as follows: for the first Subsidiary, Miguel Acuña Saddlery will play Estancia Punta Chica, at 4pm. Next, Longiness vs. Capital Lions will meet for the second Subsidiary, at 5pm and finally Escorihuela Gascon/La Mejor Flor vs. Pololine will play final, at 6pm.

November 18 , 2008 - Led by six goals by MVP Stevie Orthwein, Port Mayaca beat Heronwood 12-10 and won the Subsidiary Trophy, of the Autumn Plate tournament, at Grand Champions Polo Club.

November 17, 2008 - A total of nineteen entries between 24 and 31 goals, will be playing the Cámara de Diputados Cup, one of the most important tournaments of the Argentine season, which will start today in Pilar and Tortugas.
The opening day will have seven matches and the final is due on Sunday, December 7.

November 16, 2008 - Black Watch, with Guillermo Caset filling in for Nacho Figueras, got a surprising 13-12 victory over La Aguada Arelauquen, in the second match of Zone B at the Argentine Open. La Aguada Arelaquen´s Eduardo Novillo Astrada Jr. had to leave the field due to a torn muscle, being replaced by Marcos Di Paola in the first chukker, and in the sixth period, Javier Novillo Astrada was replaced by Silvestre Donovan due to an injury in his shoulder.
In the previous match, Ellerstina defeated Trenque Lauquen 20-10.

November 13, 2008 - Just like in 2007, Sao Jose and Las Monjitas played the final of the Gold Cup at Ellerstina, but the story would be different though as the Cariocas had their rematch, as they beat Las Monjitas 13-10.

November 8, 2008 - In an exciting final match, La Aguada Arelaquen beat Pilará 15-14, in over time, with a golden goal by Javier Novillo Astrada, who converted a penalty from the spot, and won the 115 Hurlingham Open, the second step of the Triple Crown in Argentina.
Ignacio Novillo Astrada was MVP, and que Miguel Novillo Astrada´s Califa and Gete Tacaña, were BPP.
