Quarter finals set in Dubai

Zedan beat Mahra by a narrow 7-6 score in the last qualifying match of the McLaren Silver Cup at Al Habtoor Polo Club & Resort, in Dubai.

Following this result, both Zedan and Mahra have qualified for the quarter finals. Habtoor and Bin Drai await to play the semifinals, having qualified directly.

Zedan and Mahra played a very fast and open game, with Mahra taking a slight advantage in the first half. Thanks to the skills of their superstar 10-goaler, Pablo MacDonough, Zedan cut the margin down to one goal in the fourth, and tightened their attack in the last chukka to earn a 7-6 victory.

Mahra's Tito Ruiz Guiñazu was named top scorer, with 5 goals, while Zedan's Pablo Mac Donough was named MVP.
